The Big Event is Coming
Please read the following message from Dr. McClellan, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs:
As noted in the subject header of this message, the Big Event is coming. More specifically, it is coming to IPFW and the Fort Wayne community on March 24th. The Big Event is a national day of service program. Created thirty years ago by students at Texas A&M, the Big Event provides an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to give back to the communities that serve as host and are supportive of their campus. The Big Event has grown to include 72 campuses across the country, and, thanks to the efforts of a hard-working group from across our campus, this year IPFW will become the 1st university in Indiana to take part in the program.
This morning I am asking for your help in spreading the word about the Big Event. Please share the attached letter with students, staff, and faculty through listservs, bulleting boards, mailboxes, and any other means you feel is appropriate and helpful.
Thank you!
George S. McClellan, Ph.D.
